Krach Institute Announces Establishment of Ukraine’s First-Ever Trusted Tech Caucus
The Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue announced the establishment of Ukraine’s first-ever Trusted Tech Caucus in partnership with Members of the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada), formally named the Platform for Tech Diplomacy of Ukraine. The announcement marks Ukraine’s entry into the Global Trusted Tech Network, a growing alliance of governments, companies, organizations, and leaders committed to ensuring that technology advances freedom, security, and prosperity. Ukraine’s participation strengthens shared efforts among the United States and allied democracies to secure supply chains, shape trusted technology standards, and counter authoritarian technological influence.

Krach Institute and NESA Center Partner to Strengthen Allied Tech and Security Collaboration
The Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue and the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies within the U.S. Department of War announced a strategic partnership designed to help the U.S. and its allies turn shared technology and security priorities into real-world maritime solutions. By connecting policymakers, industry leaders, and allied governments, the partnership aims to translate high-level dialogue into actionable initiatives that ensure emerging technologies serve democratic values, protect freedom of navigation, and strengthen collective security in an increasingly complex regional environment.
Top News of the Week - U.S.-India Tech Cooperation Accelerates
After six months of trade tension and demands by the U.S. that India reduce its purchases of Russian oil, the announcement of a trade agreement and India’s decision to reduce its purchases of Russian oil and gas, has re-opened technology cooperation between India and the United States.
Key points:
India joined the State Department’s initiative called Pax Silica which seeks to build secure supply chains for semiconductors.
Senior U.S. officials attended India’s AI Summit and announced their intensions to cooperate even more closely with India on AI and semiconductors.
India, with its strengths in software development and information technology services, is poised to accelerate its economy and become a global leader in artificial intelligence.
